Saudi Arabian Regional Objectives Due to Yemen's Developments

With the wave of regional developments, it was thought that a fateful revolution would take place in Yemen that with the support of the West and Israel from Saudi Arabia, these developments transformed another fate and prevented a nation-oriented revolution in Yemen. Saudi Arabia sees Yemen as its backyard and pursues its goals in the form of a convergence between Saudi Arabia and Israel, the conservative territories of the region, the United States and the West, which has faced the challenge of resisting the axis of resistance. In this article is discussed Saudi rulers pursue a pragmatic approach to the West to create their own home security, that quiddity and modality of this policy actually formulate the main question what is the Saudi objectives in the region in general and in Yemen in particular? The main hypothesis in the answer to the main question is that Saudi policy is to prevent Iranian influence and the axis of resistance in the region in general and in Yemen in a special way beyond which it wants to increase its power and reduce the influence of Iran in the region. The most important findings of the research are study Saudi Arabia's regional goals such as radical fundamentalism and inhibition of the spread of Shi'ism, strengthening the coalition with the United States and increasing regional power, rebuilding the Sunni empire and leading regional power, preventing the spread of axis of resistance and preventing Shiite growth in the region, which these policies in Yemen are due to the access to Yemeni oil resources and the prevention of a popular government In Yemen.
