Relationship between Ethical Intelligence and Organizational Citizen Behavior (Case Study: Aboureihan Campus of Tehran University)

The current study was aimed at investigating the relationship between moral intelligence and organizational citizenship behavior among employees and faculty of Tehran University campus Aboureihan. To do this, correlational descriptive study was conducted. The statistical population was consisted of all the 230 employees and faculty at Tehran University campus Aboureihan. Using Stratified sampling, 144 people were selected as the sample population. A questionnaire of moral intelligence and organizational citizenship behavior was used to collect data. The validity of the questionnaires was confirmed by the experts in the field. The reliability of the questionnaire was measured using Cronbach alpha. It was shown that the reliability of moral intelligence and organizational citizenship behavior were 0.86 and 0.89 respectively. To analyse the data the researcher used descriptive method of investigation as well as inferential methods (such as Pearson correlation coefficient and one-sampled T test). The results of the study showed that there was a positive relationship between moral intelligence and all its components (honesty, compassion, responsibility and forgiveness) and organizational citizenship behavior.
