The effect of eight weeks of corrective games on the level of kyphosis and balance of hearing disabled students

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of eight weeks of corrective games on Positive kyphosis and balance of disabilitie students. The research method was semi-experimental and its design was pre-test of post-test. Twelve deaf students with a mean age of 10/8 ± 1/42 years, mean height of 140/5 ± 6/05 Cm and weight of 35/25 ± 5/06 in experimental group (12 subjects) and control (12 People participated in this research. The BESS test was used to measure static balance, Y test was used to measure dynamic balance and flexible ruler for kyphosis angle. The experimental group conducted a center of gravity training program for 8 weeks and 3 times a week. Independent t-test was used to compare the pre-test and post-test and paired t-test to compare the difference between groups at a significant level of 0/05. The results of the study in the intervention group after 8 weeks of corrective games revealed a significant difference in the status quo angle, the static and dynamic balance of the deaf students, but no significant difference was observed in the control group (p≤0/05). The results of the study indicate that rehab programs can improve the static and dynamic balance of hearing disabled people and can be used in conjunction with other training programs.
