The effectiveness of enriching relations spouses based emotionally focused therapy on quality relationship of marital in women’s of referring to counseling center

purpose of this study is determining the effectiveness of enriching relations spouses based emotionally focused therapy on quality relationship of marital in women’s of referring to counseling center. This research utilized a pre-test and post-test semi-experimental design with a control group. In this study, by random sampling and voluntary method 30 subjects were selected from women’s of referring to counseling center Mehraeen in tehran city in academic year 2018 and they were then assigned to experimental and control groups (n=15 for each group). The experimental group received enriching relations spouses based emotionally focused therapy for 8 sessions of 90 minutes, but the control group did not receive any intervention. The research instrument was marital quality scale of Busby, Crane, Larson and Christensen (1995). Data were analyzed by multivariate analysis of covariance. The results showed that enriching relations spouses based emotionally focused therapy significantly was effective on quality relationship of marital in women’s. The results of this study showed that enriching relations spouses based emotionally focused therapy can effect on quality relationship of marital in women’s.
