The Effectiveness of Mindfulness Education on Student Resilience

Abstract:
The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of mindfulness education on the resilience of students of “MullaSadra” School of RAVANSAR city who have been tested in a rescue condition. The research method was semi-experimental and its design was pre-test, post-test and follow-up with control group. The statistical population of the study consisted of all male students of “MullaSadra” school in RAVANSAR city in 1996-1999. Which did not have the skills to control behavior and return to their initial psychological level after the tension and difficulty in studying. At first, 100 students were selected by cluster sampling and responded to Conner and Davidson Resilience Questionnaire (CD-RISC), and then 30 of them, who earned less than the rest of the lower score of this scale. Were selected and assigned to two experimental groups (15 subjects) and control (n = 15), and the experimental group underwent training for the minds during the 8 weekly sessions of 1.5 hours. The results of the experiment showed that the training of mindfulness skill in stress and stress exerted students, stress, self-control was effective. Considering the higher mean scores of the survival of the experimental group in the post-test, it can be concluded that the education of he mind is effective and has increased the resilience of the students. In general, this result was obtained. That the education of the mind can affect the resilience of “MullaSadra” students in the city of RAVANSAR and increase it.
