Divorce prediction based on individual beliefs of personality, basic needs and traps of life

The purpose of this research was Divorce prediction based on individual beliefs of personality, basic needs and traps of life. In this study, the path-based correlation method was used to explain the chain and multilevel patterns correlations. The statistical population included all couples applying for divorce in the winter of 2018 in Isfahan city . A sample of 329 subjects (178 women and 151 men) were selected by available sampling method. The research instrument were: Personality Belief Questionnaire (Beck, 2015), Adaptive basic needs Inventory (Sahebi,1390), Life Tra (Young, 1994), Divorce Desire Questionnaire. For analyzing the data, descriptive statistics and regression analysis were analyzed using SPSS software version 22 and a significant level of P≤0.05 was considered.The results of regression analysis showed that among all the predictive variables used in this study, the individual beliefs of the personality (β =-. 199), the intensity of the need for Fun & enjoyment (β = -.162), and the Entitlement & Grandiosity of life (β=-.142) is able to explain 61.5% of the tendency to divorce variance (p≤0.05). Overall, the results of this study show that in order to manage and control the desire to divorce, divorce prevention process is required to emphasize the role of individual beliefs in Histrionic Personality, the Fun & enjoyment, and the trap of, Entitlement & Grandiosity.
