Sociological criticism of Mahmoud Ghaznavi image in the poetry of Attar

Abstract Sultan Mahmoud Ghaznavi, the powerful Kingdom of Ghazni period, has a special position in Persian literature. He, like any other king or ruler, along with his governance has been eulogized. Part of this process, as in histories work’s of the Ghaznavid period in the form of panegyric poems has been recorded. In addition, special and unique features of him impressive in Persian literature, that About the other rulers has not been traced. That is introduce of him as a symbol of true love, that has been expressed from distinctive and distinguished Point of view in mystical texts. In Attar's poetry, Mahmoud Ghaznavi introduce with a unique Feature. The image of Mahmoud, besides the mentioned items represents ideal and transcendental king. Ideal king, is one of the public and proposed theories in literature and thought of the Iranian. This idea is so old that it can’t be stated specific date for the formation of it. In thought of Attar, the issue of ideal king has been mixed with the historical figure of King Mahmoud Ghaznavi. This procedure is under the influence of unsuitable social conditions and inadequacy era kings, that has been Lead to the erosion of science, literature, and culture.
