Study of Effective Factors on Acceptance Level of Advisory Services among Wheat Farmers of Miyaneh City

In the present research, factors influencing the acceptance level of advisory services among wheat farmers of Miyaneh have been studied. The statistical population consisted of all wheat farmers under the wheat plan in Mianeh in 2015-2016 where one hundred samples were selected using stratified sampling method and Cochran formula. In order to compare the effectiveness of advisory services, one hundred farmers out of the plan were also selected as a control group. Validity of questionnaires was approved according to the experts’ opinion. Cronbach's alpha reliability coefficient of the questionnaire was also approved (0.92). Test results showed that there are significant differences in the average technical knowledge, attitude towards the advisory services, Professional skills and acceptance level of advisory services between farmers under the wheat plan and out of the plan. Moreover, results showed that the acceptance level of advisory services decreases by a rise in age, planting record and distance to the center of services and increases by a rise in educational level, performance, monthly income and area under wheat.
