The Relationship between Organizational Structure and Organizational Indifference of Employees (Case study: Isfahan University staff)

Abstract:
The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of organizational transformation on employee productivity considering the mediating variable of job satisfaction in Tehran Regional Power Company. The present research is applied in terms of purpose, and in terms of method, is a descriptive survey of a correlation type. The research population was all employees of Tehran Regional Power Company. Using Cochran formula, 331 people were selected as a statistical sample and simple random sampling method was used. To collect data, the standard questionnaire of human resource productivity (Hersey and Goldsmith, 1980), the organizational transformation standard questionnaire (Gutter and Drucker, 2005) and the Weiskey and Chrom (2000) job satisfaction standard were used. Content validity of the questionnaire was confirmed by the professors. Cronbach's alpha coefficient for human resource productivity was 0.708, organizational change was 0.890 and job satisfaction was 0.920. For data analysis, Structural Equation Modeling Test and Lisserel Software 8.54 were used. The results showed that the organization's transformation has a positive and significant effect on the productivity of employees due to the mediating variable of job satisfaction in Tehran Regional Power Company.d its dimensions can predict the employee's organizational indifference.
