Investigating the Effects of Total Quality Management on the Agility of Service Organizations

Organizational agility has become an essential feature of the success of organizations with very rapid and rapid changes in the mission environment of different organizations. Therefore, this study investigates the effect of universal quality management on agility in Arak Electricity Management Engineering at Power Distribution Company of Markazi province. This research is applied and is of a descriptive survey type. In order to collect data, the library method and field (questionnaire) have been used. The statistical population of this research is the staff of the Arak Electrical Engineering Management Department, which consists of 240 people. The research sample was calculated using simple random sampling method and its volume was calculated using Morgan table of 140 people. After collecting data through a questionnaire, information was analyzed using SPSS software and regression test. Finally, the results of this study indicate that overall quality management affects the agility of the organization; and among components of overall quality management, speed has the greatest impact on agility of the organization. More precisely, comprehensive quality management explains 0.616 of the changes in organizational agility.
