The I.R.I Strategic Navy Requirment in search and rescue operation

The successful implementation of the search and rescue operations by the I.R.I Navy requires special equipment and requirements in two surface dimensions, aerials, which are indicators in each of these areas. The issues that led to the writing of this research were applied, the lack of a clear statement about the requirements of surface and aviation units of the Strategic Navy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the search and rescue operation. The purpose of this applied research, carried out with a descriptive and mixed approach, is to measure and prioritize the requirements of the I.R.I Navy in marine search and rescue operations in two dimensions of Surface and aviation Units. The population studied in this research is I.R.I Navy, and a statistical society has been selected among top-ranking of navigator officers who participated in the Gulf of Aden mission. With a specific coefficient, the number of them was estimated to be 185, and Using the Cochran formula, 125 individuals were selected as the statistical sample. In this regard, with conducting field and library activities such as interviewing the owners, questionnaires, studying documents, calculating and studying the content of Internet sites, we gathered information and after collecting, tabling and categorizing, the information was analyzed and indicators of the statistics In both dimensions, priority was given to calculating their coefficient of variation. Accordingly, flying deck was the first priority of the surface units and trained flying personnel in the first priority of the aviation units.
