Taraz and function in Abbasi caliph courts

Taraz as a style of decorating clothes and textiles containing saint namesor narrations along with the position of the official, gradually prosperedin clothes of all the officials of the governments.Taraz is one of thesymbols of the power, glory and majesty of AbbasiAnd in Abbasi courts, it has had political value and credit as the garmentpride and esteem.Similar to Manbar,Takht and Khatam it was amonggovernmental things. Therefore different paintings or contents includingthe name of the caliph, prayer or verses of Quran were used in these clothesand garments. The material was uncoloured cotton and sometimespolished one in combination with silk in high quality clothes. The mainreason of the present study is to review the nature and different of Taraz.Therefore, we aim to analyze the procedure and function Taraz in Abassitime.
