Assessing the role of the city landscape in securing citizens in urban micro level (Case study: Sartapoleh neighborhood, Sanandaj)

At present, one of the most important urban damage to cities is due to visual disturbances. On the other hand, security and urban perspective are words that although both are subsets of urban science and landscape architecture, there is a need for a closer examination of the relationship between them. While numerous views and experiences show that many of the criteria and measures taken in various studies that lead to the sense of security of citizens are directly or indirectly related to the principles used in urban landscape design, Reduce or increase. In other words, the urban landscape should be a safe haven for the lives of citizens. The present paper seeks to assess the role of the landscape in securing citizens' sense of security based on the model and coefficients of importance of criteria by carefully selecting the specific criteria of urban security - which is derived from previous studies and related to the city's landscape and the city aspect. Finally, Planning strategies and general points derived from the research model to enhance the role of urban landscape in providing citizens with security. Multivariate regression tests and single sample t-test were used. The results showed that memorable variables, location identity and sense of place had the highest impact on the sense of security in the neighborhood, with numerical value of "425, 408 and 398."
