The Relationship between National Identity and Khuzestan’s Arab Convergence with the Political System

Social cohesion and the preservation and continuity of stability, national order and integrity are among the most important concerns of political leaders and security officials and social thinkers. Given the specific sensitivities of Khuzestan province and the use of researcher experiences in this field, the present study aims to investigate the relationship between national identity and Khuzestan’s Arab convergence with the political system.The applied study was carried out using correlation method. Methods and tools for data collection in this study were, a questionnaire, observation and use of library and online searches. The reliability of the researcher made questionnaire was determine using Cronbach’s alpha formula in SPSS-23. The “Colomogrov-Smirnov” test was used to analyze the obtained responses.Findings of the study indicated that there is a significnt relationship between national identity and the political system of the country. In other words, the more the indicators and components of national identity among the Arab people, the better the convergence with other ethnic groups and the political system.
