Economic Security, the Result of Economic Resistance; Investigating Security Components of the Islamic Republic of Iran’s Economic Authority in Policies of Resistance Economy

Authority is a concept of legitimate power, and economic authority is considered as one of the bases of national power. The comprehensive struggle of global arrogance against the holy system of the Islamic Republic of Iran, and the conditions resulted from economic sanctions, mere use of common patterns of progress and economic development based on factors such as domestic production growth have made export growth and import reduction ineffective and a new plan is required to maintain and enhance economic authority. The analysis of the Supreme Leader’s views indicates that a specific pattern of economy should be considered as the basis for the Islamic Republic of Iran’s Economic authority model, which is based on a revolutionary attitude and perspectives on internal capacities in the field of economic authority, and includes different paradigms and factors of growth and common economic development. This research aims to explain security dimensions, components and indicators of the Islamic Republic of Iran’s economic authority, with a perspective on resistance economy. This is an applied-developmental study which investigates theoretical foundations in economic authority, the Supreme Leader’s sayings and approved policies of resistance economy using content analysis and library, documentary and field methods. Consequently, the dimensions of economic authority consist of religious, cultural, scientific, political and managerial dimensions, including 15 components and 57 indicators, among which four components have a negative perspective regarding two economic and managerial dimensions and put an emphasis on the abandonment of existing wrong practices like sale of crude oil, and other 11 components are positive and require a culture and creation of a platform for implementation. The highest frequency is related to economic components with 29 indicators.
