Intervesting The Causes and Related Factors in Youth Trend in Drug Abuse (case study of Jolgeh Chah Hashem area)

Objective of the present study investigates the causes and related factors in youth tendency to use narcotic drugs in Jolgeh Chah Hashem area. In this descriptive - correlationstudy 105 young addicts were selected by available sampling method to collect data, Goldberg and Hiller's mental health questionnaire (1979) and the causes of drug abuse of drug by Mohammadi et al (2014) were used. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics including mean, standard deviation and inferential statistics using t_test and using Spss 25 software.The result of this study showed that individual factors, interpersonal factors, environmental factors and social factors in the tendency to drug abuse among young people in the Jolgeh Chah Hashem is significant (p < 0/000). Also the results showed that among the individual factors positive attitude towards narcotic (15.20) and losing of religious beliefs (14.91) had the most average effect. Among interpersonal and environmental factors, families with an average of (25.86) and peers with an average of (17/08) had the most impact. Also among social factors, economic and social deprivations with an average of (31.33) and lack of access to support services systems with an average of (29.17) had the most impact on the tendency of young people to use drugs. Also the results of the research showed that among the factors related to drug use, physical sings with a mean of (21.43) and social function disorders with an average of (20.59) had the highest relationship. According to the results, drug addiction among youth in Jolgeh Chah Hashem area is a multi- dimensional phenomenon that has been affected by three factors: individual, interpersonal and social. Therefore, it is suggested that all factors be considered in the field of prevention and treatment.
