A Comparative Study of Metaphor in Massoud Sa'ad and Nasser Khosrow’s Odes

This research, by analytic-descriptive method, seeks to compare these two poets in the intellectual and literary circles by examining the metaphors of Masood Sa'ad and Nasser Khosrow in their desires, and their differences or similarities. They show the intellectual and their mental world according to the meaning and content of their metaphors, and on the other hand, by looking at the application, type and structure, and some of the two metaphors, the artistic value of these two works, to review and evaluate one of the important aspects of figurative languages. Understanding the structure and types of metaphors in the poetry of the two poets, examining how the metaphor is applied in conjunction with other components of the sentence in the neighborhood axis, the diversity of metaphors, and the repetition of a particular metaphor are controversial issues that have been addressed. Findings show which poet is more imaginative and more emotional, and which poet is more important for the style and the way it is expressed, and which message is presented. Besides, on the basis of a written policy, it is visible that only by recognizing one's submission alone, it is possible to judge the literary and intellectual dimensions of the two poets.
