A Comparative Study of Idea- Creation and Imagination and the Elements of Chess in the works of Rumi and Collection Khaghani

Message:
Abstract:
Considering the game of chess is often seen in Persian classical poets, but some of these poets have a symbolic look and believe that beyond the game of chess and its related verbs there are mysteries. Therefore, the recognition of the symbolic meaning of chess and its nuts requires the study of the works of these poets. One of the common themes in Khaghani and Rumi's poems is the attention to chess and related terms, which mean that each of the two poets depicts their thoughts and beliefs in using this game. Therefore, the present study intends to compare the theme and image of chess elements in the works of Rumi and the collection of Khaghani by descriptive-analytical method and analyze the approach of these two poets to the chess game. Early studies show that Khaghani used chess and related terms to express the concepts of verbiage, and, on the contrary, according to his mystical command, Rumi used this game and its terms to express mystical beliefs. It is noteworthy that Khaghani and Rumi have used literary arrays such as metaphor and poetry to express these goals.
