Mazandaran, as a model of an unbalanced local market, has been heavily influenced by current political and economic events at the national and international levels. The political, social, and economic developments of the Qajar era, especially the emergence of the Russian Empire in the neighborhood of the state and the emergence of the Russians as a colonial state, strongly influenced the markets of Mazandaran and northern Iran. This paper seeks to investigate the impact of the local markets Mazandaran on the colonial presence of Russians in the area based on resources.
