Meta-analysis of studies about divorce in Iran

Considering divorce and determining factors of it are amongst those issues which have concerned many intellectuals and sociologists in recent decades. Needless to say that there are less social phenomenon half as complicated as divorce. Divorce has a big effect on different aspects of human's life. This essay has Meta-analyzed 19 researches which were conducted on divorce during (1381-1395) by surveying them systematically. This essay is divided into two main sections. The first section of the essay works on checking the content, the approach and the structure of the researches and the second section considers the most determining factors of divorce and its solutions. The results of studying the conducted researches on divorce shows that, on a theoretical level, micro theories such as exchange and homogamy are preferred to be more used. In addition, the section regarding the determining factors of divorce points out that different social and economical factors such as the interference of acquaintances and relatives, addiction, lack of understanding, differences in moral, religious, social, behavioral etc. principles, unemployment and subsistence problems, are in abundance. The proposed solutions are classified into four categories; Socio cultural institutions, educational institutions, economical and supportive institutions and legislator and regulatory institutions. Most aspects of education and family solutions have been found.
