Abstract:
Kaveh deh area is located at Firouzkouh around Tehran province. The purpose of this study is to determine the Ovis orientalis habitat suitability and its relation to vegetation dispersion in this area in fall 1393, by plotting to recognize plant species, and using Past software to determine indicate of plant biodiversity. Ovis orientalis habitat suitability was determined using ranking of habitat variables (HEP method) and HSI model. 9 habitat variables were studied: vegetation, direction, slope, distance from road, distance from habitats, distance from agricultural land, and etc. 11 species in Octobe, 9 in November, and 9 in December were recognized. Shannon Winner diversity index in 3 fall months was 2.013, 882, 1.2؛ Margalo species richness was 2.153, 1.954, 2.288؛ Menhinick species richness was 1.079, 1.162, 1.567؛ and Simpson species diversity was 0.8232, 0.8411, 0.8154, respectively. According to given scores of HEP method, the habitat suitability of Kaveh Deh area in fall season was 0.67, indicating favorable habitat suitability in this area.
