Wisdom and political wisdom in Quran and Hadith

Wisdom and political wisdom are concepts with roots in Iranian-Islamic knowledge and civilization. The present paper aims to explain the essence of wisdom and political wisdom in Quran and Hadith, so that one can explain the application of Islamic political wisdom in today's world politics. Thus, we first explain the meaning of wisdom and its politicality and then we clarify it based on Quran verses. Then, in order to achieve a more objective and practical sense of this concept, we will first explore wisdom and political wisdom in interpretations and then in the Hadiths. This meaning shows that political wisdom is a practical and functional process which result in the best and most proper decisions and actions in every situation for political and government fields. One of the findings of the present article is the presentation of sources of wisdom from viewpoint of Quran and Hadith. The results show that "revelation", "reason" and "self-actualization" are the three main sources of wisdom; The first source, that is revelation, is related to Islam and divine religions, while the other two are ultra-religious and all human beings can reach wisdom through them.
