The relationship between spiritual intelligence, parenting styles and resilience in predicting social adjustment of students

The purpose of this study was to investigate The relationship between spiritual intelligence, parenting styles and resilience in predicting social adjustment of students. The research method was descriptivecorrelation. The statistical population of this research was all students of the third elementary school in Tehran formed in the academic year of 8053-8052, Among them, 525 students were selected by cluster random sampling method and The King's Spiritual Intelligence Questionnaire, Lambert & Associates Social Reconciliation Questionnaire, Carner and Davidson Resilience  uestionnaire, and Bamirard Parenting Style Questionnaire were used for data collection. Data analysis was performed through Pearson’s correlation coefficient and regression analysis. The results of the study showed tha tthe significant positive correlation between Spiritual intelligence, authoritative parenting style and resilience with social adjustment and significant negative Authoritative parenting style and autocratic parenting style with social compatibility of students (p <00005).. Also, the results of regression analysis revealed that roughly 00400 of the total variance of students' Social adjustment was predicted based on variables of Spiritual intelligence, parenting styles and resilience. Therefore, it can be concluded that Spiritual intelligence, parenting styles and resilience are among the variables associated with Social compatibility in students that require attention and planning.
