Abstract Bioengineering is a new therapeutic approach for patients with tissue or organ damage. In this method, tissue or organ function is returned or retained. The first effective factor in tissue repair is the construction of scaffold for cell attachment, proliferation, and differentiation. Marine environments are a huge source of bioactive compounds and substances that are used in medicine. Marine polysaccharides such as agarose, alginate, carrageenans, Fucoidan, chitin and chitosan, glycosaminoglycans, and marine proteins and ceramics have unique properties that make them suitable for tissue regeneration. Marine compounds and scaffolds made from them in bone tissue engineering , cartilage, neural tissue and wound healing have satisfactory results and improved tissue function in vivo and in vitro conditions.
