The aim of this study was to evaluate the effectiveness of Group-Based Positive Psychotherapy on Efficient & inefficient & Styles of referrals to other coping strategies in At Junior High School boy Students.
The research design was quasi-experimental with pre-test, post-test & Trimester - follow - up with the control group. The statistical population of all 13- to 16-year-old male students was 240 students in one of the junior high schools of Fariman town in the academic year 1396-97 That The purposive sampling method, 34 students were selected. The experimental & control group included 17 participants. The intervention for the experimental group consisted of 10 sessions of 60 minutes of Positive psychotherapy. The research instrument was a questionnaire of coping strategies and the program of positive psychology Rashid (2008). Data were analyzed using repeated measure ANOVA.
The results showed that positive group psychotherapy has been effective in increasing coping strategies (P<0/01), & reduce non-efficient coping strategies (P<0/01), & increasing the styles of referral to others (P<0/01), in the students, & this effect has continued in the follow-up phase.
