The party and national unity in the Islamic Republic of Iran (emphasis on rules)Dr.Hasan majidiAbstract:At the outset of the presidential election, freedom of activity of the parties and the adoption and amendment of the law of parties in parliament and the Expediency Council has doubled the importance of political parties in the country. The party is among modern political phenomena that is common among democratic and authoritarian political systems. Parties as well as other effects of development intensify the social and political gaps. The parties that related to society, public opinion, political system and election consolidate the national unity by increasing political participation. The author would explain the importance of national unity and the parties and their functions and would demonstrate the effect of parties on national unity by using the model of the Crises of Political Development. Finally, the author would briefly explain their effects on Islamic Republic of Iran.Key Words: Party, National Unity, Social Gaps, Coherence, Democracy
