Organizational Citizenship Behavior among Nurses in Hospitals in Tehran City, Iran
Organizational citizenship behavior is an effective factor in the performance of organizations. This study determined organizational citizenship behavior among nurses in hospitals in Tehran City, Iran.
This survey study was performed on 200 nurses in hospitals in Tehran City. Data were collected using library resources and a standard questionnaire (α = 0.77). The data were then analyzed using independent t test.
There was no statistically significant difference between nurses in state and non-governmental hospitals.
In Tehran City, nurses' organizational citizenship behavior was desirable, and there was no difference in organizational citizenship behavior among nurses in state and private hospitals.
