Scimago ranking system and its search strategies

The purpose of this study is introducing the Scimago Ranking system and its search strategies in order to facilitate the use of various services and products that provided by Scimago Institute. The Scimago Institute, is one of the scientometrics institutes in the world was founded by Spanish professor Félix de Moya Anegón, in 2008 as a spin-off; and it provides free access to the information of a credible database, i.e. Scopus Citation Index from Elsevier Company.  Moreover, Scimago Institute enables the use of the analysis of information based on certain indicators where the ranks of journals, countries and institutions are available as well. It is also provide services including Advising, Reporting and use Viz Tools (Shape of science, subject bubble charts and global reports) to help understand the facts, make informed decisions and policies efficiency in the research performance of organizations.
