Comparison of the effectiveness of cognitive behavioral therapy with cognitive therapy based on the presence of mind on obsessive-compulsive disorder
The purpose of this study was to compare the effectiveness of cognitive-behavioral therapy with cognitive therapy based on the presence of mind on obsessive-compulsive disorder.
The research is semi-experimental (semi-experimental) with the design of "pre-test-session-fourth-post-test". The statistical population of this study was all people referred to the counseling center of Malayer. 18 subjects with obsessive-compulsive disorder were selected using available method. The severity of obsessive-compulsive disorder in the experimental groups was evaluated by the Maudsley obsessive-compulsive disorder before, the fourth session, and after the end of treatment sessions. . Data were analyzed by mixed or mixed variance analysis.
The results of this study showed that there was a significant difference in the effectiveness of the two groups in reducing the symptoms of obsessive-compulsive disorder, cognitive-behavioral therapy and cognitive therapy based on the presence of the mind.
According to the findings of this study, both cognitive-behavioral therapy and cognitive therapy based on the presence of mind have been effective in improving the severity of symptoms of obsessive-compulsive disorder.
