The purpose of this study is to design a model for assessing how dynamic information technology capabilities play the role of organizational intelligence mediator and the ability to share knowledge on improving the competitive advantage of SMEs in the field of information technology in Tehran province.
The research method in this article is descriptive-correlational. The statistical population of the research includes a set of small and medium enterprises active in the field of information technology in Tehran province. The sampling method was class-related research and 210 questionnaires were distributed among managers and senior experts of the companies under study. Then, by using factor analysis, the validity of the questionnaires was examined. Also, structural equation model was used to test the research hypotheses.
The results of the structural model showed that the dynamic capabilities of information technology (β = 0.46) and information technology integration (β = 0.52) had a positive effect on knowledge sharing capability and information technology infrastructure. Had information technology matching (β = 0.82). Conclustion: The results of the research showed that the dynamic capabilities of information technology have a positive effect on the improvement of the competitive advantage of small and medium businesses through two intermediary variables: the ability to share knowledge and organizational intelligence.
