Investigating the Relationship between Organizational Entrepreneurship and Culture: The Facilitators of Resistance Economics

Establishing entrepreneurial conditions within an organization, making innovations and paying attention to individuals within the organization are all considered as examples of organizational entrepreneurship and one of the most important elements of resistance economics. The entrepreneurial community has a high degree of tolerance, hence a resilient economy.The purpose of the present study was to explore the relationship between corporate entrepreneurship and organizational culture. The statistical population included experts and mangers of a public organization in Tehran province in Iran. Sample size was determined equal to 276 persons using confidence interval approach. The required data was collected via self-administered questionnaire and SPSS software was used for data analysis. Dimensions of corporate entrepreneurship were determined through research background and organizational culture was explored by means of Robbins model. The results revealed that three dimensions of corporate entrepreneurship (creation of new units, product/service innovativeness, and self-renewal) have a positive and significant effect on organizational culture. Therefore, strong dimensions of organizational entrepreneurship can disseminate the entrepreneurial culture in the organization. Accordingly, strengthening organizational culture can strengthen organizational entrepreneurship and, on the other hand, the strength of organizational entrepreneurship dimensions can promote entrepreneurial culture in the organization.
