Evaluating the relative performance of inspection units in Police Provincial Command
This study evaluates the relative efficiency of the provincial inspection units as an important oversight unit in the country. Accordingly, the performance of provincial units is compared to each other at specific times, and units that utilize their abilities and capabilities at specified targets in each time period are identified. As a result, managers will have a scale to judge the performance of their subgroups. The research methodology consists of four main sections: identifying indicators, designing and implementing a consolidated model, collecting data, and implementing a model and analyzing the results. The research method in the first part consists of determining the input and output indices based on the mixed approach. In this study, the "Sequential Discovery Plan" is used as one of the research strategies in combinatorial methods. The method used in Section 2 (Design and Implementation of Integrated Patterns) is Data Envelopment Analysis which is one of the non-parametric methods. Findings show that in year 2016 in group 1, out of 10 units, 8 units, in group 2, out of 12 units, 8 units and finally in group 3 out of 11 units, 10 units have relative efficiency. Thus, among the 33 provincial units, 26 have relative efficiency. Overall, it can be concluded that, jointly, the received budget is one of the most important indicators that must be changed to achieve efficiency for all inefficient units.
