Identification and analysis the color and form variety of Gilan women local clothes in order to representation in design of social cloth of Iranian young women

In this research, it has been tried to design clothes that shows art and taste, civilization, culture and original identity of Iranian people. In this way, types of designs and variety of colors in traditional clothes of different regions in Gilan are examined and identified, so that they can be used in designing women's uniform cloth (gown) according to how they fit into visual primary principles and results of questionnaires. A method of this research is a descriptive way and its purpose is an "applied" one.  The library method and the research methodology have been used, respectively, to collect information on the subject literature and research background, and to collect data on confirmation or disproof of research hypotheses; for this purpose, a field-work questionnaire was used to collect from two statistical communities: clothes designers and gown sellers included 60 individuals. Descriptive- statistical analysis and inferential statistics were used to analyze the questionnaire data. In the inferential statistics, SPSS software was used to perform statistical analysis of the questionnaire. So, the Kolmogorov-Smirnov test was used for normalization of variables; consequently, independent one sample t-test and comparison of two communities, and Friedman's test were applied respectively to study and examine hypotheses and to rank designing variables. According to study of major statistical results obtained from the research questionnaire, consideration of significant components effects on design of gown, based on statistical community’s viewpoints, as well as considering the visual principles and elements presented in the research, twenty dress designs was done with Etude, among which six selected designs were presented graphically in CLO Enterprise software. Finally, six types of gowns are sewn in order to fulfill the research objectives, based on these six designs.
