The Influence of Islamic Spirituality of Employees on Interpersonal Communication in the Organization

One of the most important functions of spirituality in organizations is to improve human communication in the organization. Because of the social dimension and the advancement of one's goals, one has to communicate with others. In Western secular and non-secular societies, this type of communication is based on personal, party or group interests. But in Islamic societies, communication goes beyond just personal and partisan interests and, while satisfying each other's legitimate need, finds divine favor, loving and respecting one another to obtain divine favor. This research seeks to theoretically explain the impact of spirituality on interpersonal communication. In this regard, it will examine the concept of spirituality, communication, and the factors affecting organizational and human communication. The research method is descriptive-analytical. The results of this study show that Islamic spirituality is interpersonal communication effects such as: softness in speech, lowering voice in communication, use of beautiful words, acceptance of others apology, no backbiting, fraternal behavior, trustworthiness, bad repellent with good, patience against dissenting opinions, forgiving and ignoring others’ mistakes, beneficence in hardship and openness, cooperation, superiority in charity, lack of scrutiny, humility, not revealing others’ bad deeds, and so on.
