Codification of citizen participation pattern in order to increase the success of city management in Shiraz Abstract This research aims to develop a citizen participation model in order to increase the success of urban management in Shiraz. The method of this research is based on the purpose of the research is a hybrid or mixed type that is carried out with a sequential exploratory strategy. In this method, first, the qualitative part of the research, which aims to provide a native model of strategic management success, was carried out using granite theory and then, using the quantitative part of the research, the native model of the extracted test and validation has been done. Qualitative sampling method in this research is purposeful sampling and the research data after 15 deep interviews with managers and experts of urban management of Shiraz have been analyzed based on three stages of coding. In the open coding step, more than 119 significant statements were extracted. In the next step, 19 sub categories were extracted from these meaningful propositions. In the axial coding step, from the closer examination and linkage between the concepts, seven categories were derived: the tendencies Collective, influence and supervision of citizenship, political structure of governance, representation of citizen power, democracy, city reconstruction and urban management success.
