The purpose of this research was to investigate the relation between the entrepreneurial personality traits of managers and the innovative behavior of the organization through critical thinking of managers in growth centers and technology units of Islamic Azad University using descriptive and correlational method at the level of organizational analysis.
The statistical population of the managers of knowledge-based companies is the active base of these centers in 2018, of which 270 were reported. The sample size was calculated using 155 Morgan table and returned to 145 questionnaires. The Personality Characteristics Questionnaire of Entrepreneurs (2008), Ritz Thinking (2009) and Johnson's Innovative Behavior (2010) have been used to collect information. Data were analyzed using SPSS software (23 version) for structural equation modeling of PLS axis and Kolmogorov-Smirnov tests, Pearson correlation coefficient, simple and multiple regression, and structural equation modeling.
Results showed that with increasing critical thinking of managers, their entrepreneurial personality traits and innovative behavior increased. Also, the results indicated that there is a significant relationship between the entrepreneurial personality traits of managers and the organizational behavior through critical thinking of managers.
The managers of the companies have tried to be more creative and use their knowledge and skills in new ways to achieve valuable results and to be aware of the complexities of the real issues; they are critical, and for reasoning and prediction positions that require reasoning are prepared so innovative behavior and entrepreneurial personality traits have increased in them.
