The present study was conducted to determine the effectiveness of cognitive-behavioral therapy games in social development and reduction of social phobia among primary school children in Kermanshah city in the academic year of 2017-2018.In this research, a pre-test and post-test design was used for unsuitable groups. In the present study, 30 children with low social development and social phobia were selected as the sample group by using the Social Welfare Questionnaire and Social Welfare Scale, and 15 people in the group were selected randomly. Control replaced. The experimental group consisted of 8 sessions of play therapy with a cognitive-behavioral approach twice a week for 40 minutes on the experimental group. Participants of the control group were placed on the waiting list.The results of this study showed that cognitive-behavioral therapy has increased social growth and reduced children's social phobia using independent covariance analysis. The most important results of this research are the effectiveness of the treatment game and the usefulness of using the cognitive-behavioral approach in promoting social growth and reducing the social phobia of these children.Therefore, it can be concluded that the method of game therapy with cognitive-behavioral approach has been effective in social development and children's social phobia.
