Causel modeling of the relationships between social capital and job engagment of physical science faculty members
The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship between social capital and job engagment of faculty members of Payame Noor University. This research is applied and descriptive-correlational in terms of data collection. The statistical population consisted of all the faculty members of physical education in 8 centers and 18 units of Payame Noor University of West Azerbaijan Province, and sample was selected 200 among them by census method. Data were collected by using two standard questionnare: social capital of Nahapit and Ghasal (1998) and Salwanova & Shufley (2001). The collected data were analyzed by using descriptive and inferential statistics. The structural model of variables was tested by lisrel and indicators of criterion were favorable. The results of the research showed that there is a relationship between social capital and job engagment at the level of 1% error, so that as much as faculty members benefit from the capital, their occupation engagment will be even greater at the level of professional energy, professional sacrifice and the professional fascination.
