Pathology of cultural invasion among Youth of Hamadan province
Cultural threats are known as threats to a country's structure. Accordingly, one of the ways of threatening a country's culture, especially about the cultural structure, is designed and implemented in the form of cultural Invasion. This study was done with the aim of pathology of cultural invasion at different levels of micro, medium, and macro among youth, Hamadan Province in 2017. The quantitative research was carried out via a survey method. The study population consisted of all youth in Hamedan Province (N= 10874). 284 students were selected through stratified random sampling by using the Cochran formula. The data were collected through a structured questionnaire. The content and face validity of the questionnaire was confirmed by an experts panel. Reliability was strengthened through pilot testing and calculating Cronbach’s alpha. Empirical results of a structural equation modeling analysis revealed that cultural invasion had significant effects on the three levels of micro, medium, and macro of culture. Furthermore, the greatest effect was on the tendency towards fashion at the micro level, on adherence by young people to family principles at the medium level, and on lifestyle changes at macro level.
