Relationship between Organizational Culture and Anti-citizenship: Mediating Role of Ethical Competence, Organizational Capacity and Governance
One of the most important factors in reducing utilities in organizations is the anti-citizenship and non-productive behaviors that varieties of factors influence on it. This article aims to explain the relationship between organizational cultures with anti-citizenship in Payam–e-Noor University in south west of Azerbaijan province.
This research is a descriptive-correlation survey. Population of the study includes all staffs of Payam-e-Noor University in south west of Azerbaijan (N=260). 159 subjects were selected though simple sampling. Data were gathered by questionnaire. Data were analyzed by using path analyzing model and using LISREL software.
The findings showed a significant relationship between organizational culture and organizational capacity and competence and governance. Also, there was a positive and significant relationship between moral competence and organizational capacity with governance. There is a negative and significant relationship between moral competence and Anti-citizenship. There is a negative and significant relationship between organizational capacity and anti-citizenship.
Based on data analysis, the level of moral competence development based on organizational culture can help to create strategic capacity and strengthen governance in preventing anti-citizenship behaviors.
