Studying Of Reletionship Between Quality of accounting informationandCompetition in the product market: Moderating Role Of Markating Stock market risk in the companies Accepted in Tehran Stock Exchange
Abstract One of the fundamental barriers to investment debate is the concept of risk and its acceptance in financial markets. Risk is a future-related phenomenon that cannot be predicted precisely because it is uncertain. Therefore, the purpose of the present study is to investigate the impact of market risk on the relationship between the quality of accounting information and competition in the product market of listed companies in Tehran Stock Exchange between 2011 and 2016 with a sample of 120 companies. Multivariate regression model was presented and analyzed to test the research hypotheses. The results showed that there is a significant relationship between the quality of accounting information and product market competition, thus providing the necessary infrastructure to create a competitive environment in the product market by economic policy-makers. That increases competition in the product market and hence increases the quality of information, but other findings indicate that market risk does not moderate the relationship between accounting information quality and competition in the product market.
