Abstract:
One of the conditions for the obligation of commanding to do good and forbidding the evil is the non-harm condition. It has less been less discussed that how much harm resolves the obligation problem, but it is implied from the jurisprudents' sayings that if there are harms anywhere, the obligation of this obligatory action is definitely removed and nullified having studied the jurisprudents' views, the authors have concluded that there is no common saying by them by virtue of which the absoluteness of harm is mentioned. Therefore, by contemplating in narrative indications and jurisprudential rules, the present research has concluded that the criterion for (non-) obligation of this obligatory action depends on the amount of the harm the commander or forbidder inflicts or its abundance harms the people, society, or religion. Thus, the more corrupt should avoided by the less one and the more important should be avoided by the less one.
