Investigating Role of Knowledge Management on Information Technology Influence on Supply Chain Performance in Tile Industry

In today's world, information impacts on all industries. One of the key issues that will undoubtedly be influenced by information technology and its tributaries, is the supply chain performance. In this study, we attempt to improve the performance of information technology in supply chain based on knowledge management perspective. Because improving supply chain performance depends on exploiting knowledge and experience of all those involved in the chain. Therefore, the role of knowledge management in this subject and its effects will be significant. For data gathering 136 valid questionnaires were collected from ceramic tile companies for determining the relationship between variables and their impact on each other. Using partial least squares and Smart PLS software for data analysis, results of research and conceptual model, showed that there are direct and positive impact relationship between IT capability and knowledge management.
