The Importance of Buddy Aid Education in Crisis for Military Personnel

Crisis takes place regardless of boundaries and never happens in appropriate time. Armed forces – due to special facilities and equipment are the first respondent people in the scene when a crisis happens. Therefore, the present study investigates the importance of buddy aid teaching to the armed forces at the time of crisis.
 

This article is a review which is conducted based on library studies and search via Internet databases of Google Scholar, PubMed, SID and Magiran, over the years 2004 to 2017.

Based on the characteristics and special preparations of armed forces, they have the ability to be present in rescue and relief operations, medical treatments and transferring the injured. On the other hand, studies show that trainings have been influential on increasing the level of the function among the armed forces. One of the best ways to save injured and reduce injury intensity is using life-saving Initial measures of self-aid and buddy aid.

Discussion and Conclusion:

Higher abilities and better performances of the relief forces in crisis leading to, the more and quicker reducing in amount of damages Therefore, the organization of multi-disciplinary training classes in military organizations using learner-centered teaching patterns with an emphasis on skill based learning, with particular attention to future threats, is proposed periodically at regular intervals.
