Presenting Excellence Model of Safety Culture in Armed Forces ‎

The personnel who are serving in military environments are exposed to ‎dangers caused by their service. A factor that is vital in promoting safety ‎and preventing threats, is the safety culture in armed forces. The first ‎executive step in the excellence of the safety culture, is producing a ‎model for it, which is the subject of this research. In this research, by ‎using theories and documentative studies, and also interviewing with 32 ‎of experts, intellectual, managers and commanders in the field of HSE in ‎armed forces, six effective factors of cultural excellence process were ‎found, and in the end by using the result of these two parts and ‎producing a model in two-dimensional of “Safety Increase, Threat ‎Decrease” and “Exellence of Safety Culture and promoting Appropriate ‎Behavior”, the Exellence model of safety culture was presented. This ‎model, which was based on beliefs of experts and scientific foundation, ‎was produced in compatiblity with local necessities and armed forces ‎needs. It can be a scientific foundation for executive decisions, in order ‎to promote the ecellence of safety culture in armed forces and cause ‎coherence and effectiveness in the decisions.‎
