New approaches in diagnosis, treatment and care of patients with inflammatory bowel disease
Inflammatory bowel diseases, including Crohn's diseases, ulcerative colitis, diverticula, peritonitis and appendicitis, which mainly affects the digestive system, causing complications and problems outside the gastrointestinal system. Due to the increasing prevalence of Crohn's disease and colitis in recent years and the impact of these diseases on quality of patient’s life, It is necessary that both patients and all the staffs be familiar with the disease and how to control them that in this article we have been dealt with.
This is a review article that conducted on inflammatory bowel disease by searching databases such as SID, Elsevier and Google Scholar during 2010-2015.
The chronic nature of the disease, the severity and recurrence of symptoms, the effectiveness of drug on treatment and their side effects, affect the patients daily life and a significant decrease their quality of life. In this paper, in addition to the above review, hints of nursing and care of these patients also reviews according to the recent literature on the subject, in order to control the disease and improve the quality of life of these patients.
Due to the chronic course, it is necessary that both patients and nurses be familiar with the disease and how to control it, with the right measures to control the disease and improve the patient's quality of life.
