A Study of the Effect of Social phenomenon on Police Personnel and Presenting Strategies to Reduce the Vulnerability
The main purpose of this research is to study the effect of Social Phenomenon on Police Personnel in order to reduce their vulnerability. This research follows a mixed research method, and data collection has been done both in terms of quality and quantity through interviews and questionnaires. Cochran's formula designated the population to be 365. The result of this research revealed that five variables of religious commitment (0.577), social commitment (0.236) consumerism (-0.185), nepotism (-0.179) and unhealthy social relations (-0.135) have significant effect on Police personnel vulnerability, but variable of social capital and contextual variables did not have any strong effect. In general, it can be inferred that Police personnel are in great shape in terms of vulnerability; yet there is possibility of vulnerability in some cases for which strategies are presented to reduce the effect.
