A survey of Relationship between Job Satisfaction with Organizational Commitment and its Influencing Factorsin Employees of Sabzevar University of Medical Sciences

Abstract:
Backgrand: The relationship between job satisfaction and organizational commitment is as most important factor in the management science. One of the basic factors influencing commitment is employee's job satisfaction. The purpose of study was investigate the relationship between job satisfaction with organizational commitment and its influential factors in staff working in Sabzevar University of Medical Sciences.
Materials and Methods
This cross-sectional study was carried out on 288 employees from different fields. The instrument was a Demographic information, Job Satisfaction Questionnaire (JDI) and organizational commitment of Allen & Meyer. The collected data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, Spearman, Naparametric Test and with SPSS24.
Results
Results showed that job satisfaction and organizational commitment of employees in all dimensions were higher than the average level. The highest level of job satisfaction was observed in the dimension of the co-worker and the highest organizational commitment of the employees in emotional dimension. There was a positive and significant relationship between job satisfaction and organizational commitment of employees.(r=0.32-p
