Investigation and Assessment of External organizational Factors Affecting the Phenomenon of Suicide Based on Criminological Theories

The research has been done in order to explain and assess external organizational factors affecting the phenomenon of suicide based on criminological theories. Therefore, this paper tries to take advantage of criminal etiological theories and criminal dynamics theory to explain the causes of this phenomenon. This research is an applied research and uses cross-sectional data collection. The population consists of 214 personnel and experts in NAJA which were chosen randomly using Cochran formula. A researcher made five item Likert scale questionnaire was used. The results indicate that based on the Criminological theories, the external individual characteristics with the mean of 2.85 has the highest impact on the phenomenon of suicide, and the inborn individual characteristics with the mean of 2.01 has the less extent of impact on this phenomenon. Among external individual characteristics items, the item of "the sense of adventurism and curiosity to the gun" with the factor loading of 0.7 has the highest impact on the incidence of suicide. The next item with highest impact is "influencing commanders in order to gain an advantage such as exemption or service fraction" with the factor loading of 0.72.
