One of the main elements in management is planning. Planning is the basis of management elements and is a process that organizations use it for all their attempts and activities related to their goals, such as making agile units and achieving suitable productivity. Probably, in this path, the speed is the most important asset in the third millennium. In order to reduce the time of accountability and for bettering the resilience, new forms of organization must be established. Nowadays, the competition is in different dimensions, such as the speed of delivery or servicing to the customers and citizens, developing the productivity quality or servicing and … For achieving these goals, the organizations and institutions must focus on rapid movement of data for productivity issue and delivering suitable services.
The more rapid the movement is, the more expeditious the organizations are in responding to the needs and requests of citizens. In this path the police organization is not an exception and for doing its missions and establishing order, undoubtedly needs to review organizational structure and human resource and benefit from effective and modern technology. In this paper we firstly discuss the meaning and definition of agility from the point of view of researchers and then the agile management and its dimensions and also organization devices for achieving the agility such as organizational structure, personnel, technology, information technology, creativity is discussed. And as it goes on, it has focused on the goals and advantages of having an agile organization and the existing obstacles for planning and making an agile organization, and also the ground rule and requirements of police management and in the end it has proposed conclusion and necessary recommends and has pointed out the effective variables about making agile police.
